Full-Time Research Associate
Job Description
To strengthen our team we are looking for a Research Associate for our Cambridge/Bedford office.
The research associate will support early assay development efforts (biochemical and cell based HTS) for the evaluation of novel drug targets and identification of novel therapeutic entities
You will contribute by:
- Executing in vitro and cell-based assay development experiments using a variety of HTS compatible (luminescence, TR-FRET, and FP) and adjacent techniques (western blot, RT-PCR, etc.).
- Generating project critical data in a dependable and timely fashion.
- Maintaining and caring basic mammalian cell culture and advanced translational disease

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology or biochemistry
- Minimum of 1year experience in mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays is required.
- Minimum 1year industry experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environment is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years’ experience in an pharma assay development or early stage discovery environment
- Independent execution of complex cell based or in vitro assays for target validation or small molecule discovery efforts
- Experience with HTS or MTS screening.
