Full-Time Research and Evaluation Manager
Job Description
The Health District is seeking a Research and Evaluation Manager. This position is responsible for managing the Health District’s Research Evaluation team. Are you driven to ensure that internal programs and community impact projects are monitored and evaluated? Do you believe that community health status data can effectively guide community change? The Research & Evaluation Manager assures that team members provide evaluation and promising practices research; develop evaluation plans for new programs and grant proposals; facilitates program quality improvement initiatives and provides evaluation consultation and technical assistance to Health District staff, programs, projects, and, as time permits, community partners.
Pay Range and Status
- $84,523 – $86,650 per year DOQ
- 40 hrs/wk

Qualifications
- Minimum of a master’s degree in public health, behavioral health, social sciences, applied social research or other relevant field, or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
- Minimum of three years of professional work experience.
- Minimum of two years of hiring and supervising individuals and teams demonstrating effective team leadership, strongly desired.
Key Responsibilities
The Research and Evaluation Manager:
- Assures that Health District programs and projects have sound evaluation plans and procedures.
- Oversees the planning, fiscal management, coordination, implementation, analysis, and reporting of a comprehensive community health status assessment and other strategies for collecting scientific data on the health of the community.
- Assures timely and accurate responses to all requests for data, interpretation, and analysis.
- Provides or arranges for training, mentoring and technical assistance on community assessment and evaluation for Health District staff and others.
