We’re looking for a Regional Director of K-12 Sales to join the team at Edpuzzle, a leading Edtech company trusted by over 80% of schools in the USA and millions of teachers and students across the globe, with offices in San Francisco and Barcelona. The right person will be responsible for building a strong and sustainable process to engage districts, school and state Departments of Education to ensure their adoption of the Edpuzzle platform.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve regional objectives and oversee individual Territory Management reps
  • Understand Edpuzzle’s goals and set strategies to increase sales volume
  • Coach and develop a K-12 Sales team resulting in high performance and territory goal achievement
  • Understand key metrics for contract renewals and upsells
  • Track KPI’s of pipeline management and forecasting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Oversee and attend education conferences with an eye for ROI
  • Manage region’s attainment of account renewals
  • Follow up with upgraded schools to ensure they are set up for success
  • Coordinate and provide training and PD’s as needed
  • Work with School Success Team to develop usage in schools and explore ways to improve the process
  • Manage your region’s spending budget
  • Set appropriate team training and development plans, plus meeting and coaching opportunities
  • Set team expectations and a cadence for team communication
  • Work with cross-functional departments to communicate and collaborate for the benefit of advancing Edpuzzle’s overall growth goals and vision
  • Be an active part of the Revenue leadership team working in concert with peers and leaders
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Passionate about students, teachers and lifelong learners
  • Knowledge of the K-12 education landscape within the US and Canada
  • Experience selling Edtech, SaaS software of education curriculum
  • Proven track record of crafting sales strategies, executing territory plans and exceeding revenue goals
  • Knowledgeable about education funding sources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to travel to meetings and conferences as required
  • High speed internet

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of K-12 sales team management experience
  • 5+ years of K-12 account management experience
  • 2+ years of teaching experience encouraged

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to Travel up to 50% of the time
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
