Job Description
Are you looking for a new role to make a difference in the environmental sector and be part of a fantastic global People and Culture team? As part of our team you will be responsible for providing expertise in recruitment and resourcing; including improving and supporting end to end processes, and supporting development and operations of key talent management processes; onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and offboarding. You will have experience of developing and designing processes, as well as advising and supporting managers, including senior management. You will be flexible with a willingness to learn. You will report to the Head of People Operations and have support from a People Administrator.
You will be joining a high performing, supportive global team, with nine colleagues based in our London head office, supporting regional people teams in Latin America, APAC, North America and Europe. As a global team we support about 600 employees across 19 countries to deliver CDP’s strategy; we deliver an ambitious people and culture support and initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice and information on all recruitment and specific talent management topics to People team colleagues and to managers, including senior managers as required
- Supporting and advising managers and regional People team colleagues on global policies within your remit to ensure they are aligned
- Working with the global People Operations team and L&D Manager to support training activity
- Support and overseeing the creation of resourcing guidance; including PSLs in different locations
- Creating and adapting global recruitment and talent policies and processes and advise on regional implementation
- Championing wellbeing, CDP’s values and JEDIA in all aspects of your work
- Partnering with Directors in region to help identify talent, help deliver their strategy and assist with recruitment
- Work with the wider global People team on projects such as supporting improvements to our performance management frameworks.
Required skills and experience
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience in an HR role; with a particular focus in recruitment, resourcing and talent management
- Experience of advising and supporting managers with resourcing, recruitment and talent management; specifically onboarding, offboarding, performance management to achieve results and succession planning
- Experience of researching, developing and implementing new policies and processes
- Experience of managing projects from end to end or interest in developing this experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a keen preference for developing strong collaborative working relationships
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills and a good awareness of confidentiality and GDPR
- CIPD qualified or part-qualified and working to gain full membership
- Strong IT skills using the Microsoft Office suite and HR databases
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels across geographies and time zones.
Desirable
- Experience of working with offices abroad in an international organisation; and
- Experience of working for a charity or NGO.
This is a full-time permanent role based at CDP’s Central London office, we would also consider applications from people who want to work part-time.
Salary and benefits: £38,000-£40,000 per annum, 30 days’ holiday, generous non-contributory pension provision, life assurance, training and development opportunities, excellent flexible and remote working environment and others.
