Phoenix Futures Essex Health & Justice team have a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to gain experience working with people facing multiple needs in the justice system. We are recruiting a dynamic Recovery Support Worker working in partnership with EPUT (Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust) and CRG (Castle Rock Group) delivering the Integrated Health and Justice Service throughout the County of Essex, including Southend & Thurrock.
The Role
The team have 1 vacancy, mainly based in North Essex, with the option of a hybrid approach including working from home, this role is Monday to Friday, 9 – 5.
Your day to day is varied, the successful candidates will work alongside EPUT, CRG, the Police and Full Circle to support vulnerable individuals, including young people into treatment/services in a bid to divert them from reoffending or custody. This will include completing DRR/ATR assessments and high quality reports to assist the court in imposing appropriate disposals for those with problematic alcohol and/or substance use, meeting young people in the community and offering telephone support.

We are now seeking a Recovery Support Workers to join our team in Clacton, Essex.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support
- Experience of working as part of a team and supporting your colleagues
- Able to evidence excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Evidence of managing a busy caseload and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word and familiar with relevant database management systems
- Relevant experience of work in the field of problematic substance use, mental health or another comparable field.
