Who and what are we?
Raasay House is a 21 bedroom hotel with a restaurant, bistro, bar and an outdoor centre located in a Georgian style mansion house on a picturesque inner Hebridean island. We are a family run business and have been operating in a community-owned building for over 35 years.
We bring together quality accommodation, fantastic food/drink as well as a deep love of our breath-taking surroundings all underpinned with a genuinely warm and authentic customer experience.

What services do we provide and who do we serve?
- Throughout the day we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner menus to a variety of guests ranging from those at Raasay House to the various B&Bs, Raasay Distillery (which has six bedrooms), local residents, day visitors and holiday home guests depending on the serving period.
- We provide a range of Outdoor Activities including kayaking, rock climbing, sailing, archery and coasteering. We also offer RIB boat trips and Bike Hire. ***OUR TEAM GET FREE ACCESS TO ALL OF THESE***
- Events, courses, groups, school groups, weddings.
What do we expect from you?
We are currently looking for organised, reliable and welcoming reception staff.
Duties will include answering enquiries on the phone and email as well as assisting guests while they are staying with us. Our morning reception staff will be responsible for making sure that the housekeeping team have the correct room configuration information are organised and working to the best plan for the business, ensuring that the breakfast waiting team have the correct information regarding booked breakfasts. Other ad hoc admin duties and jumping in to assist waiting staff during busy periods will also be required. The right candidate must have fluent written and spoken English and be an excellent communicator.
You must be able to demonstrate that you have a the right to work in the UK.
