About the position
The Quality Manager position is responsible for managing all aspects of the quality programs associated ISO, sustainability, environmental, and process development. This position may also manage or participate in such diverse functions as security, safety, environmental, emergency response (ERT) and crisis management (CMT) teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Knowledge of excellent business practices, departmental budget control, strategic planning, sustainability, conflict resolution, change agent and initiator.
- A working knowledge of Facility safety requirements, operation and preventative maintenance, 5S, Environmental Health and Safety and Regulatory compliance.
- ISO 9001/14001 Project Lead and audit coordinator. Responsible for scheduling yearly external auditors as well as internal audits with various departments and stakeholders.
- Continued development and rollout of formal Root Cause & Correction methodology.
- Manage monthly KPI’s meeting including documenting corrective action if required.
- Supporting Quality Department at HQ during internal- and external- as well as customer audits.
- Coordinate annual Quality & Sustainability goals execution within Mycronic GT
- This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to development controls, and work collaboratively
- Requires the ability to disseminate complex and technical information and make sound economical judgments of various alternatives. Also requires the ability to assume responsibility to make rapid and correct decisions especially during system failures and/or emergencies.
- Ability to develop interim and long-term corrective actions
Experience and Qualifications
- 5-7 years of quality management role with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- ISO 9001/14001 certified.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, analytical and communication skills.
- Must have the ability to plan small and large projects to ensure yearly requirements.
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment, work under pressure and adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to effectively present information one-on-one, in small to large groups and to top management.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
- Computer skills – proficient with MS Outlook, Office applications, Web collaboration tools and PowerPoint.

Primarily sedentary work involving sitting or standing at workstation should be expected.
The employee must have the ability to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
The employee should expect to have an inside work environment with conditions that may be subject to indoor temperature changes.
