The role: The Quality Assurance Manager will lead a QA team as a hands-on expert for our Groups360 platform and be its’ Champion amongst other department teams made up of Architects, DBAs, Software Engineers, Product Development, Scrum Masters, and DevOps personnel.  This position should be familiar with the concepts of Agile/Scrum processes and be interested in participating in and helping to maintain that culture, leading by example. The Quality Assurance Manager will develop and manage testing strategies and plans for cloud-based applications, with a focus on containerization, CI/CD, and automation. This position requires a strong knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure, microservices, and serverless architectures and hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.

What you will do: 

• Responsible for driving Test Strategy Development and ensuring the application of Quality Management throughout the SDLC process.
• Lead a Quality Assurance team that is ensuring quality code delivery for a tech stack that is comprised of ReactJS, Ruby/Rails, Python, .NET and PostgreSQL.
• Consistently review QA test plans to ensure they are efficiently and effectively influencing the quality of product delivery.
• Champion QA automation and oversee its integration into the development pipeline.
• Effectively manage QA resources to ensure their availability to continuously perform the required needs to meet Sprint delivery dates.
• Responsible for integrating QA testing methodologies that ensure, where required, ongoing adherence to internal/external audit results based upon industry governance standards.
• Other duties as required.

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience in software quality assurance as an individual contributor.
• 1-3 years of supervisor experience required.
• 1-3 years of experience in cloud-based testing, containerization, automation, and CI/CD tools (i.e., Jenkins, Docker or GitHub).
• Experience with BrowserStack, Mac/Linux and AWS/Cloud.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, WebDriverio or Selenium.
• Active practice of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent verbal, written and group communication and presentation skills; ability to utilize communication skills to effectively influence across functions and business units as well as across different leadership levels.
• Excellent organizational & analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-driven and execution-oriented personality, ready to take ownership and get results.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint.

Core Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. HYBRID, M-F; these hours may vary depending upon your position and work requirements

Status:  Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Brentwood, TN. HYBRID (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
