Job Summary
The position manages a group of 9 survey engineering technicians and one office assistant. Administrative responsibilities include developing and refining program goals, setting and managing objectives and measurable outcomes, ensuring compliance with the county, state, and federal regulations and administering consultant contracts.
Qualifications
Qualifications Education and Experience, filling position as Engineering Services Manager III:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in project management, civil engineering, construction management or other discipline applicable to the position.
- Five years of increasingly responsible project management experience, including leading teams of professional and technical staff.
- Proficiency using personal computers and software applications including GIS, word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling software, and databases.
- Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the State of Washington.
- Valid driver’s license.
- All combinations of education, experience, and training that demonstrate the ability to perform the work will be considered.

- Three years of increasingly responsible project management experience.
- Two years leading teams of professional and technical staff.
- Proficiency using personal computers and software applications including GIS, word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling software, and databases.
- Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the State of Washington.
- Valid driver’s license.
- All combinations of education, experience, and training that demonstrate the ability to perform the work will be considered.

Salary Grade: M2.831 ($7,542.00 – $10,654.00) per month
