Part-Time Report Processor
Job Description
The City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin is searching for a part-time Report Processor for the Oshkosh Police Department. This is a second shift position working four (4) days per week from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The shift rotates every other week as follows: Monday – Thursday (week 1); Sunday – Wednesday (week 2).
The primary responsibility of the Report Processor is to transcribe and data enter report dictation and other police documents into the Records Management System. Duties may include:
- Transcribing incident reports into the records management system and data entry as necessary.
- Correcting and resolving address/name errors to maintain the integrity of other related data bases.
- Validating incident report data in correspondence with the WI Department of Justice and/or FBI reporting requirements.
- Ensuring overall quality and accuracy of police reports.
- Maintaining filing system for incident reports and records.
- Assembling and forwarding police reports/accompanying documentation to appropriate OPD personnel and other law enforcement agencies.
Qualified Candidates:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age

Salary: This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a full benefits package. Pay ranges from $19.38 – $22.15.
