As a team member, you will take an assets-based approach, working with parents and their children in their homes to provide focused family support. As a service, we provide a safe and caring environment for young families, with their aspirations and desires always at the forefront of the support we offer them. Our service seeks to encourage and empower young parents to move forward positively, and to learn and achieve the independent skills they need to live positive and fulfilling lives.

  • You will carry a case load of young families, engage them in effective support planning and work with them towards achieving tailored goals and positive outcomes.

Key Requirements:

  • You must have experience working with young parents and their children, particularly those considered vulnerable or with multiple and complex needs.
  • You must be able to encourage positive change in the individuals we work with by managing challenging behaviour appropriately.
  • You will be required to coordinate multiple tasks to ensure effective safeguarding of our residents in accordance with health and safety guidelines and should have the ability to engage, motivate, inspire and empower young families.

Expected working pattern: The role will be based at both service sites in Brighton and Hove. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.
