Full-Time Project Worker
Job Description
We are recruiting a Project Worker to work in our supported accommodation project for homeless people and rough sleepers. As a Project Worker, you’ll be working alongside the Projects Manager, Senior Project Worker and the wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our community accommodation project at St Patrick’s.
As a Project Worker you will contribute to the provision of high quality, safe, welcoming and secure supported housing and night shelter services for single homeless people and rough sleepers. This will involve providing assessment and onward support into sustainable accommodation or reconnection, using Psychologically Informed Environment practices, Trauma Informed Approach and restorative practice, to achieve the best possible outcomes for service users across the city which meet their needs and aspirations. You must have knowledge and experience of the homeless community and the challenges they face.
As a service, we provide a safe and caring environment for the homeless community and we seek to encourage and empower this community to move forward positively, and to learn and achieve the independent skills they need to live positive and fulfilling lives. This includes delivering one to one sessions and group work sessions to assist residents to develop personally and socially in order that they grow in confidence and move towards independence.
