Job Description
With transformational change at the heart of our plans for 2019, a new and exciting post has been created within Scottish Golf, with two candidates sought for the role of Project Manager. This position will provide a variety of exciting challenges and will have a mix of hands-on and strategic elements.
Digital enablement plays an increasingly important role within the implementation of the Scottish Golf Strategy and the post-holder will make a significant contribution to the delivery of the organisation’s commercial plan. Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption and successfully implementing the Scottish Golf Club administration and tee booking system in all clubs agreeing to utilise the system?
Do you have the insights, business and technical background necessary to help establish the Scottish Golf system as a key technology platform provider within all clubs?
As Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to help grow and shape the future of emerging technology and drive adoption of Scottish golf club administration as a start-up in our member clubs.
You will be a self-starter, with entrepreneurial spirit who is prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, develop and execute against an account/territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results with each club implementation.
Ideal candidates must have experience of a project environment, possess excellent communications skills and have a good knowledge of club operations and systems.
A competitive salary and excellent benefits package is on offer. Post-holders will be based at Scottish Golf’s office at Caledonia House, South Gyle in Edinburgh, with additional access to our office at The Duke’s, St Andrews, however it is anticipated that travel within Scotland will be a key part of this role.
