YMCA DownsLink Group deliver supported accommodation for young people between the ages of 16 and 25 across Eastbourne and Hailsham. We need an enthusiastic and determined Project Manager to work alongside the Head of Operations to oversee this service and lead the team to ensure effective delivery.
You must have experience of managing a staff team responsible for providing support to vulnerable people and experience of working with young people, and you will need to evidence the ability to engage, motivate, inspire and empower people. This is challenging yet rewarding work that helps the people we support to belong, contribute, and thrive.
As Project Manager, you will manage a team of project staff ensuring that they:
- Deliver and use Psychologically Informed Environment practices, Trauma-Informed Approaches and Restorative Practice.
- Enable residents to articulate and achieve their ambitions and aspirations.
- Support residents to acquire the skills they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
- Identify, map and encourage the growth of each residents’ assets, strengths and talents.
You will oversee health and safety and our housing management function supported by established deputies
