Full-Time Project and Payroll Administrator (Remote)
Job Description
The Position
We are currently seeking a Project and Payroll Administrator to manage administrative systems, process payroll, and ensure the accuracy of reported data for a number of active campaigns and projects.

You will provide the administrative support we need to hire, train and pay field staff who raise money, identify supporters, and turn out voters to win big in this critical year.
What We Are Looking For
Responsibilities:
Manage and Administer Payroll Process
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll process for 5-10 project locations
- Use the provided tools and processes to correctly pay hourly campaign staff
- Execute Final Payment of Wages in compliance with local and state law
- Routinely check data for errors or incompleteness
Onboard and Offboard Staff
- Ensure completed documentation and tax forms for all new staff are in compliance with federal, state, and local law
- Use and iterate the provided tools and processes to efficiently hire staff
- Track benefit eligibility and enroll or terminate benefits when applicable
- Work non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary
- Keep a constant eye towards equity in the hiring process
Assist and Train Field Staff
- Organize and run trainings for field staff on administrative systems and procedures
- Manage weekly meetings with field staff
- Give effective feedback and guidance to field staff
Qualifications:
- 2-3 Years of experience in campaign administration
- Fluency in Google Suite
- Passion for progressive policies
- Self-starter and excellent problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
- ADP experience is preferred but not required.
Job Details
Location: This position is fully remote.
Salary: This is a full-time, staff-level role that will report to the Senior Payroll Manager. The salary for this position is $50,000 to $59,600 annually, depending on experience. We offer a generous benefits package, including paid vacation, paid sick leave, health insurance, and a (virtual) classroom-style training. There may be opportunities for advancement.
Timeline: We are looking to fill this position immediately and will have additional Project and Payroll Administrator positions opening in the near future.
