Temporary Programme Coordinator, iWill Social Action
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Foundation as a Programme Coordinator. In this role you will deliver social action programmes across schools and in community settings to provide life-changing opportunities in areas of Liverpool, helping participants to develop life skills and improve their local communities.
What will you be doing?
- Coordinate the development and delivery of the LFC Foundation’s iWill programme within schools and Community Hubs, including the development of high-quality materials and facilitation of social action activities with participants aged five to twenty
- Identify and recruit participants with the support of the iWill Programme Manager
- Harness relationships with local stakeholders to build partnerships that will help towards hitting the outcomes and KPIs of the iWill programme
- Manage programme logistics including venue management, transport, food and accommodation where required
- Ensure that the monitoring and evaluation framework is carried out effectively to ensure data is captured accurately and in line with our reporting procedures
- Promote the iWill programme by working closely with the marketing team and collecting engaging content
- Manage risk across all elements of the iWill programme to ensure the safety of all young people and staff
- Support the wider LFC Foundation team as and when required
Who are we looking for?
To be successful you will have experience in working with vulnerable young people in schools and/or community settings, including experience in signposting young people to further opportunities. You will also be able to demonstrate previous experience in empowering young people to make a difference, able to develop curriculum materials, support large events and workshops, able to collect and analyse data, along with experience in stakeholder management and working in a collaboration.
You’ll have a strong understanding of inclusive youth work practices and challenges faced by schools and young people. You will have strong communication skills, organisational skills and an ability to priorities and manage own workload. You’ll be competency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will take a passionate and empathetic approach to your work and will be able to show commitment to Liverpool FC Foundation’s mission and value.
We`re committed to safeguarding young people, so you must also have a level 1 (or higher) qualification in safeguarding young people, and a strong understanding of good safeguarding practices. Similarly, we also aim to be the most inclusive football club, so you must be able to demonstrate understanding of inclusive practices.

This is a full-time temporary role working 35 hours per week working 5 out of 7 days with some evening and weekend work required. This role is based in the Anfield Sports and Community Centre in Liverpool; however, the post holder will be required to work from other locations across Merseyside.
