Full-Time Program Manager A – Selective Admissions

Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, temporary Program Manager A in the Enrollment Services department. This is a project position with an expected duration through June 30, 2025; renewal is dependent upon continued funding. The work schedule is Monday-Friday from 8 am – 5 pm; 2 days on-campus, 3 days remote. The hybrid schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the college. The Enrollment Services team includes the functions of admissions, credential evaluations, selective admissions, registration, records, and assessment. The Program Manager A reports directly to the Associate Registrar and works as part of a larger team. Under the general direction of the Associate Registrar and the guidance of department leadership and/or other stakeholders, the Program Manager is responsible for managing the selection process for Clark College’s limited and competitive entry programs. The role also participates in workflow development, ctcLink (PeopleSoft) system configuration, support, and change documentation.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Serve as point person for PeopleSoft local system configuration related to selective admission programs.
  • Contribute to department efforts to offer services and processes in support of social equity and diversity objectives established by the college.
  • Process and review application materials for selective admissions programs. Evaluate applications towards program admission requirements (transcripts, placement information, healthcare and volunteer experience, course information and credentials.
  • Advise community stakeholders, prospective and current applicants, and college staff regarding policies and procedures by providing presentations, maintaining web presence and promotional materials for selective admissions programs.
  • Collaborate extensively with faculty and other campus areas to support selective admission students.
  • Manage selection for limited and competitive entry programs: evaluate incoming applications, track and manage selection lists, communicate with campus community.
  • Participate in program activities such as information sessions and program orientations to provide information to applicants and admitted students.
  • Provide information and technical assistance to program participants, staff and outside entities regarding selection results.
  • Ensure all information and records are accurate and kept confidential
  • Attend meetings and trainings associated with Enrollment Services.
  • Perform related duties as required.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:

Candidates will be evaluated based on application materials, including the supplemental questions and personal interview(s), and will be required to demonstrate competencies in the following areas:

  • Associate degree AND two (2) years of experience as a Credential Evaluator OR sufficient experience in a highly detailed work environment.
  • Familiarity with student information systems such as PeopleSoft, and higher education policies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • The initial appointment will include a 6-month probationary period and the employee will earn permanent status after successfully completing probation.
  • This position is represented by Washington Public Employees Association.

SALARY/BENEFITS: 

Salary Range: $4,194 – $5,643/month | Step A-M (commensurate with qualifications and experience) | Range: 48 | Code: 107R

Successful candidates typically start at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases.
