Full-Time Program Compliance Coordinator – Auto License Department

Job Summary

This specific position will offer improved internal operations and the ability to meet our contractual obligations as an Agent of the Department of Licensing (DOL).  This will be accomplished and measured in the following areas:

  • Program performance standards, monitoring, and reporting
  • Coordination and scheduling of subagent audits adhering to all timelines
  • Performance of subagent audits per DOL contract
  • Determination of findings and follow up within DOL requirements
  • Recommendations for improvement or corrective action within the scope of authority
  • Continuation and improvement of our office monitoring procedures to meet DOL requirements

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience: 

 

The successful candidate will likely have a combination of education, experience, and qualifications equivalent to or including the following:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting
  • Experience in auditing or contract compliance
  • Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, experience and training which ensures the ability to perform the work may be substituted
  • 2+ years’ experience in personnel management of 6 or more staff members

 

Knowledge of: 

 

  • The principles and practices of public sector organization and program management, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and problem solving
  • Application and interpretation of county, state and federal laws and regulations relevant the Auto Licensing program; analysis and evaluation of policies, procedures, public information, and service delivery issues
  • Research methods and techniques; trends and practices within the specialized areas
  • RCWs and WACs as they apply to vehicle/vessel license transactions, Clark County Auto License Department policies and procedures, DOL policies and procedures
  • Basic audit practices and procedures and fraud detection
  • Basic bookkeeping, accounting, and cashiering methods
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the day to day operations, principles, practices, and terminology of Auto Licensing and auditing
  • Knowledge of database and software used by Auto Licensing; Office 365, Q-Flow, Excel, Word
  • Principles of leadership and supervision

Salary Grade: M2.201 $6,061.00 – $8,486.00- per month
