Job Description

Would you like to support a dedicated team that provides behavioral health services in a family practice medical clinic?  We are seeking a caring, dynamic Program Assistant to be a part of the Integrated Care program.  The integrated care project is a collaborative mental health and substance use program in partnership with the Health District, the Family Medicine Center, and Salud Family Health Centers. For nearly two decades, the Integrated Care program has been collaborating with Family Medicine Center. This position will provide comprehensive administrative support services.

Hiring Range and Status

  • $19.00 to $20.20 per hour DOQ
  • 30 hrs/wk

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in related work.
  • Written and oral fluency in English and Spanish language is desired. Experience providing effective spoken language interpretation in medical or mental health setting.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Performs comprehensive administrative support (scheduling client appointments, data entry, word processing, file creation, filing, mailings, phone calls, arranging meetings, distributing agendas and documents, recording minutes).
  • Provides case management services related to social determinants of health, substance use, and mental health needs, under the direction of the clinical staff and provides support for specialty clinics at FMC (Chronic Pain and Medication Assisted Treatment).
  • Maintains quality relations with the Health District and its various departments, Salud, Family Medicine Center, and other partner organizations.
