Job Description
Our client is a prestigious membership body, that has been serving their members in the UK for almost 200 years.
They are looking for a regulatory specialist to join their professional standards team and support their professional conduct and dispute resolution functions.
Our client is in the process of developing the best in class processes for the professional standards business area and they are interested in speaking with candidates that are enthusiastic and willing to be part of this journey.
The role
Contract: Full time, permanent contract
Location: Hybrid working pattern – usually 1-2 days a week in the office (London W1B)
Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 p/a
The post holder will be responsible for managing casework proactively (average 20-25 cases) and complaints, in accordance with the organisation’s regulations and correct processes. They will also be arranging, managing and carrying out professional conduct hearings; drafting decision outcomes for public notices of sanctions; drafting reports for appeals arising from professional conduct decisions, etc.
Besides the main responsibilities for this role, the post holder will also be involved in the strategy improvement process, to make sure that the process is as smooth and efficient as possible. Our client is looking for someone willing to develop and increase their knowledge of the hearings process, by going to hearings at different organisations and bring that experience back to them.
This is an interesting and varied role, that would provide a perfect opportunity to grow in the dispute resolution area, but in a niche and different regulatory environment from a setting perspective.
