New Job Opportunity: Production Supervisor, Brackley
Our client, with over 30 years of history, provides an exceptional opportunity for a Production Supervision to join their team in Brackley.
Primarily working with electronics-based products, ensuring the quality is maintained throughout the production process as well as production targets being met.
Production Supervisor Responsibilities Include:
- Assembly and test of electronics-based products
- Resolve minor production issues as required (for example parts shortages, drawing or instruction errors, basic fault finding and correction).
- Help maintain and implement the production plan as set forward by the production planner.
- Ensure that your team is fully trained in all aspects relating to their work seeking outside help when needed.
- Ensure quality processes are implemented and maintained to work towards “Right First Time & No Fault Forward”.
- Ensure that any new processes are properly communicated through the team, making sure that the entire team is on board and understands what is required of them.
- Ensuring clarity production is up to date and used correctly.
- Developing your team’s skills and ensuring personal progression continues.
- Work with the Quality Engineer to ensure that any equipment used within your department is properly maintained and used in the correct manner.
- Work with the operations team to assess and continuously improve productivity and quality.
- Participate in production meetings, providing insights and updates on resource availability and team members performance.
Production Supervisor – General:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assess and implement process and design improvements to enhance production efficiency.
- Undertake specific projects and tasks, as and when required.
Any other relevant and reasonable duties that may be requested by management.
Production Supervisor Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Production Operatives
Other Information relating to the Production Supervisor (Electronics) role:
- Must be comfortable working with electronics and computer/software-based products.
- Basic soldering, wiring, electronics test and fault-finding skills desirable.
- Strong IT skills would be an advantage.
What Our Client Offers:
This position is full-time and permanent, operating Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an early finish on Fridays.
