Production Supervisor- MAR

We are seeking a Production Supervisor, this position, is based in our Byhalia Factory location.

 

The position requires shift flexibility, the shifts are AM and PM, each shift is 12 hours and the days are rotating 2-2-3

Your future team:

Production Supervisor’s are members of the Production team and report to the Production Manager. The ROCKWOOL The Production team is responsible for ensuring the production goals are achieved.

What you bring:

  • 2 to 5 years production supervisor experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant.
  • Strong experience working with automated systems/conveyors.
  • Sound understanding or Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong experience with MS Office products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Project
  • Mechanical background
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferably in Business Management, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent years of experience.
  • Production supervisor experience within a continuous flow manufacturing plant.
  • Wishes to develop one’s own career to progress their career.

What you will be doing:

 

  • Manages the area of responsibility according to applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules and Regulations and Security Guidelines and ensures a continuous development and optimization of the area of responsibility, including regular feedback to employees.
  • Responsible for Performance Reviews being held within the set time frame as well as according to guidelines.
  • Follow-up on absenteeism and implementation of actions in order to reduce absenteeism.
  • Responsible for their daily production operation, and the development of the area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for the execution of the production schedule.
  • Participates in development of routines and tools required in order to ensure that the area of responsibility is operated efficiently based on the correct data.
  • Presents proposals for improvements of tools and methods
  • Responsible for Continuous improvement and development of the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Daily reporting of KPI’s to production management.
  • Responsible for employees hired within the area of responsibility being instructed and trained in such a way that they can competently perform the job they are hired for in a safe and reliable way, and that employees hired at any time work
