PRODUCTION MANAGER, INDUSTRY VENUES

Festival Services

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Festival Logistics, the Producer of the Industry Venues, will lead the pre-production, set-up, onsite operation and load-out efforts of all Industry related locations during Festival. Pivotal in the activation of professional spaces, the Producer will liaise with various internal and external partners to bring the space to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shall include but not be limited to: 

  • Lead the logistical and operational production of all Industry activation locations.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
  • Liaise with National Agencies prior to and during the Festival to ensure that their stands at the Industry Centre meet their needs. Create and manage floor plans to ensure maximum usage of available space
  • Lead Industry Office relocation to off-site locations, including all operational needs for Industry Office 
  • Liaise with internal departments, such as IT, Creative, and Facilities, in the set up of Industry Centre.
  • Coordinate site safety and security for all onsite Industry Office locations.
  • Collaborate with the Event Production team to procure materials and develop production schedules.
  • Liaise with Festival Services & Volunteer teams to ensure sufficient personnel are assigned to Industry venues to support operations. 

RATE OF PAY:

  • $ 30.00/ Hourly

TARGET CONTRACT DATES:

  • May 1, 2023- September 29, 2023

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least three years experience in the Event Production Industry in either a producer role or similar, with a specialization in production management.
  • Experience in project management and coordination of live events is considered an asset.
  • Background in business or arts administration is considered an asset.
  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
  • This position requires being in office on a regular basis.
