Your Future Team:
You will be an integral part of our Industrial Cleaning Crew, overseeing and leading a dedicated team responsible for maintaining a safe and clean production environment. You will oversee a dedicated crew of 12 – 14 cleaning team members and report directly to the Production Manager.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Ensure the industrial cleaning crew complies with all health and safety standards, continually improving safety practices.
- Supervise the safe and reliable operation of machinery and equipment.
- Orient and train new employees within your area of responsibility to adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and provide insights on scheduled KPI reporting to enhance production efficiency.
- Coordinate tasks that enhance departmental efficiency through collaboration with other teams.
- Daily oversight of the production schedule.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor/Process Support and QC department to address quality concerns.
What You Bring:
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a supervisor in a production setting, preferably in manufacturing.
- University or technical college graduate with a solid grasp of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Practical supervisory experience in a continuous flow automated production environment.
- Strong people development and training skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel).
- Driven, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of the industrial cleaning process and experience in a union environment.
- Availability for a 4-crew operation.
