Full-Time Product Manager, Global Digital Experience

Summary: 

We are seeking an energetic and proactive Product Manager to identify and analyze DTC commercialization activities including new digital products, innovative initiatives and/or licensing opportunities. Grounded in consumer insights, this role must create business initiatives that position Weber for future growth.  You will be tasked with aligning, engaging and inspiring cross functional business teams against the 5 year strategic vision and goals.  This role will own much of the tactical evaluation of new business and product concepts (economics, operations, legal, etc.).   You will work hand in hand with regional DTC partners, project managers, analysts, designers, and software developers on the team.  We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and entrepreneurial business manager who has been a part of evaluating, building, launching and scaling new products in a startup or at a big company. In this role you’ll need to think (and operate) strategically, but also lead by example in tactical execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Craft innovation strategies, create new ideas, and lead the execution of initiatives that are at the center of Weber’s strategic vision
  • Diversify product and platform portfolio through thoughtful consumer insights, thorough competitive and market analyses and deep understanding of emerging trends
  • Partner with consumer insights to manage all external / internal consumer digital journey based market research activities
  • Lead category and business case development. Analyze data and information from a wide variety of sources to develop effective business building plans; including trade promotional analysis and competitive analysis
  • Inspire and lead cross-functional teams; works closely with other departments such as Marketing, Research & Development, Consumer Care, Finance, Sales, Consumer Insights, Manufacturing and Supply Chain
  • Influence and assess innovation funnel and pipeline health
  • Develop & shape business platform propositions to enable delivery of annual revenue goals and strategic plan for assigned categories
  • Uncover business opportunities including driving underdeveloped categories and formats; identifying new product and platform opportunities; ascertaining & sizing business opportunities
  • Report and present regularly on KPI progress, success stories, and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure product plans are aligned with objectives/plans and identify improvement opportunities

How to Apply

Education and Experience Requirements
  • 5+ of experience taking new digital product concepts to market
  • 5+ experience analyzing data and building financial models
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • Experience in business development, analysis, product development, and project management
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize opportunities in highly ambiguous contexts
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to use data and logic to build robust economic analyses of new business concepts
  • A bias to action and a proven track record of delivering both minimum viable products and scaled solutions within a matrixed organization to market at rapid speed
  • Ability to partner with internal stakeholders and SMEs to deliver great products
  • Ability to clearly articulate a plan and manage the necessary details to deliver the plan by leveraging resources across the organization
  • Optimism and a natural drive to deliver results is a must. Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
  • Highly enthusiastic and hands-on business approach
