Full-Time Product Manager – Customer Solutions
Job Description
The Product Manager, Customer Solutions is responsible for leading customer implementation and otherwise custom projects (typically multiple at once, ranging in size and complexity) and managing the development process. Customer implementations are cross-functional and require a multidisciplinary approach to problem solving across process, user experience, and technology. The product manager will be expected to interact and build relationships with key stakeholders across sales, account management, legal/compliance, and engineering.
We are looking for someone with outstanding problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills. A strong candidate for this role will be passionate about serving customers and promoting a positive cross-functional team dynamic, deeply familiar with client implementations and project management, experienced working directly with product designers and engineering teams, and comfortable working within an agile, fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop, maintain and manage customer implementations and customization projects to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within agreed scope and deliver a great user experience.
- Collaborate with product development, product design, customer account management, and engineering to define and deliver high quality product and service launches.
- Lead and manage the Solutions engineering team on a day to day basis to define requirements and scope, manage timelines, identify opportunities to scale the business, and build new tools and systems to evolve our processes and offerings.
- Ensure the implementations of custom development align to product vision/strategy and evaluate when custom implementation requests should be implemented across clients.
- Educate internal teams (customer account management, sales, marketing) on our capabilities and maintain internal and external facing documentation
- Interact directly with clients and internal commercial teams to identify problems to be solved and requirements.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, breaking projects into discrete tasks with clear acceptance criteria and to maintain records of work to aid various teams and to serve as a point of reference for future projects.
- Own the development process. Lead agile ceremonies such as grooming, planning, and stand-up.
- Identify, manage and provide solutions for project delivery risks and project issues.
- Own the Customer Solutions product roadmap including estimating and managing resources, communicating status and seeking prioritization feedback from the product director and other cross functional teams, and presenting to management on a monthly basis.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years in product management or software development
- 2+ years in related product/project management experience
- Experience with JIRA and other product/engineering/project management and documentation tools (e.g. Confluence)
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality deliverables, identify project delivery risks and drive to resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to work with business process owners and learn Ovia Health’s business, systems, processes and data and represent Ovia Health’s requirements when working with 3rd parties.
- Ability to work in an environment with changing priorities and embrace change.
- Client implementation experience highly preferred
- Detail oriented and inquisitive
- Excellent spoken and written communication skill
