Full-Time Product Manager, Background Data Platform, Tenant Screening (ShareAble)
Job Description
What We’ll Bring:
The Product Manager, ShareAble will be responsible for ensuring that the combined ShareAble verticals are meeting revenue, conversion, retention and profitability goals as well as seeking ways to further these goals, including responsibility for developing the product roadmap. The ShareAble platform currently enables US consumers to share their background data with independent landlords and microbusiness employers, and this position will drive into new Markets and International Regions. This position will prioritize development efforts for ShareAble through a defensible, metrics-driven approach based on ROI, market and customer feedback and analysis of the user experience. In addition, this position provides leadership and initiative within the department by understanding the industry and its strategic direction.
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, with a strong point-of-view on the role and responsibilities of a Product Manager, and how this role differs from a Product Owner
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, with a proven record for originating and driving the adoption of successful strategic initiatives
- Experience in conversion and retention optimization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive action
- Experience developing business cases, including working with finance on supporting financials
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to leverage and build relationships across the organization
- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage tradeoffs
- Experience with Lean Agile practices and frameworks
- Human-centered design experience
Impact You’ll Make:
- Develop a product vision and roadmap that is aligned with the long-term vision of the company, while delivering immediate impact on targeted business objectives
- Serve as a voice of the customer among the cross-functional team, always understanding the customer needs
- Establish objective goals for the product with success and acceptance criteria using meaningful metrics, KPIs, and quantifiable business outcomes
- Conduct data analysis, market research, and user research to incorporate customer needs into product decisions
- Be a voice and driver of Product Management best practices
- Develop persona-based product requirements and deliver this vision to our IT partners so they can drive development
- Evangelize the product vision and motivate team-members critical to the product’s success
- Develop and execute against feature release plans, removing roadblocks to ensure forward progress
- Review wireframes and design mocks, and provide feedback and approval to product designers
- Ensure product is UAT’d to standard before release
- Coordinate with marketing, ops, legal, BI and finance to ensure successful product rollout, communications and adoption
- Run initiative meetings, communicating changes in feature requirements and release schedules openly to leadership team, and escalating critical decisions
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment throughout the product lifecycle
- Support Product Owners across multiple agile teams to ensure understanding of enhancements
- Understands and supports portfolio work
- Collaborate with system architects to envision and prioritize system enablers
- Manages development prioritization process that is transparent and informative to stakeholders
- Responsible for making sure that there are enough features ready in the backlog at all times
- As needed, assist in supporting TU consumer products

Pay Scale Information :
The salary range for this position is $108,905.00 – $184,600.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
