The Product Manager will be working on client’s garage product.
Indicated very well known project and mentioned to Google it to learn more about it. Day to day will be meeting with ops partners and gathering requirements, working with engineers, process mapping, very cross functional role.
Position Summary
This role is responsible for transforming the retail experience within client’s Club for Members and Associates across all areas of the club. As Product Management on the in-club technology team, you will lead technology-based projects that will simplify club operations, drive sales, and reduce club expenses. This role will own work streams within already established projects and/or fully own new projects from discovery to implementation.
· Defines and manages strategy and business objectives for moderately complex products by identifying market opportunities, conducting benchmark studies and competitive assessments; developing business cases; and setting objectives and key performance indicators for products.
· Develops and enhances moderately complex products by developing and managing product roadmaps; gathering and documenting requirements; collecting and analyzing customer and product data; turning customer insights into actionable priorities and initiatives; prioritizing product backlog; executing on user and business acceptance criteria; and managing roll out of product features.
· Crafts and develops solutions to business challenges by communicating requirements to key partners (for example, Business leaders, User Experience, Engineering, Analytics); and engaging with key partners to deliver and support initiatives; and communicating status and insights related to product performance to stakeholders.
· Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
· 5+ years of relevant experience preferably in an agile development environment or 4 years hands-on software development experience
· 2 years’ experience in product management with proven track record of delivering top notch products that delight users.
· Gather business requirements and translate into detailed user stories.
· Strong execution skills and ability to “drive” throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
· Ability to develop and implement a business strategy and make dynamic adjustments as landscapes shift.
· Strong technical knowledge and an ability to influence engineering decisions.
· Strong presentation and written/oral communication skills.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from data.
