We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Principal, Compliance and Control to join our Compliance Team. This role is located in Manchester/ Poole – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Partnering with the Financial Crimes Compliance Regulatory Change Team, MLROs, supporting primary Point of Contacts (POCs) and Subject-Matter Experts (SMEs) for implementation of local KYC regulatory requirements (e.g., 5AMLD, EU/UK AML legislative framework, regulatory guidance, or publications). Supporting Advisory functions as needed.
- Ongoing maintenance of country-specific KYC frequently asked questions (FAQs) and the Global Matrix of Non-US Local Requirements
- Assisting with the development of Management Information (MI) relating to outstanding regulatory changes for key governance committees and otherwise supporting escalation and cascading of financial crimes issues through reporting or other channels so that key financial crimes risks are identified, discussed, and mitigated
- Supporting the Global Head of KYC/CDD Program Advisory on strategic initiatives or programs, as needed.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Proven experience or knowledge of financial crimes compliance, regulations, or law is preferred.
- Ability to work under time pressure in a calm, professional manner and in a complex environment of regular and often overlapping regulatory change.
- Ability to take on and complete tasks with minimal oversight
- Awareness of US and other international rules or best practice standards an advantage
- Bachelors’ degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
