ABOUT THE JOB:

We seek a Pricing Coordinator to join our Proposals and Opportunities Execution Team. Through direct and daily interaction with HumRRO staff, this person will provide budget and cost proposal support, proposal pricing, and cost estimates for commercial and government clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to utilize their working knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodology of the proposal process.

Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented with the ability to work within a team as well as independently. If you possess initiative and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while prioritizing activities as needed to accomplish assigned pricing tasks accurately, on time, and in compliance with all solicitation requirements, we would like you to apply to be a part of our team.

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop appropriate pricing templates utilizing Microsoft Excel that conform to solicitation requirements and pricing standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to prepare project budgets involving the use of Excel formulas and functions for multiple spreadsheet models.
  • Coordinate with proposal teams on pricing proposals involved competitive, realistic, and response cost/price proposals from the pre-RFP stage through award.
  • Lead the pricing effort associated with the requirements of an RFP or other solicitation document(s).
  • Actively participate in proposal activities across the BD division, including proposal planning, preparation/development, and delivery.
  • Help to establish and reinforce proposal best practices company wide.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 3-5 years of experience working in similar roles preferably in a federal proposal and/or business development environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 to include the following software packages (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, & SharePoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to tailor content to specific business requirements.
  • Willingness and ability to work long hours when required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all business matters.
  • Ability to influence and guide proposal team members and provide feedback and direction to others.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency using Adobe Acrobat Professional and Salesforce.
  • Proposal experience in federal agencies or government.
  • Training or experience with proposal preparation processes (e.g., Association of Proposal Management Professionals, Shipley).
