We are currently seeking a PrEP Coordinator to work at our 400 Broadway location.

 

Position Summary:  The PrEP Coordinator provides support to patients with PrEP and PEP by working closely with Apicha medical providers and other staff involved. The coordinator performs assessment, plan creation, and assisting patients to ensure access to medication and adherence to treatment plan as well as risk reduction plan. They will assign tasks and provide case specific supervision to PrEP navigators which include but are not limited to individual and group case specific discussions, chart reviews and performance reviews.

 

 

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants will have a BA/BS in human services, psychology, and social work with one year of post bachelor’s work experience. They must be able to successfully complete the Chief Medical Officer’s training/certification to conduct rapid HIV antibody and antigen testing within 60 days of hire. The PrEP coordinator must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, be a proactive problem solver that can work well in multi-disciplinary setting and have the ability to communicate well with medical providers and support staff.
