PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Direct Supervisor: VP and/or Senior Account Director, Advisory
JOB DESCRIPTION
ACC is seeking a PR Senior Account Executive to join the team, supporting global/national communications and media relations for a multitude of clients (cannabis, entertainment, gaming, etc.) with a variety of sports, music, CPG and lifestyle extensions/campaigns. The ideal candidate will have prior agency experience in PR, building PR strategies that meet both corporate and consumer objectives. This candidate should also possess a keen sense of culture (music, movies, entertainment, trends), in addition to having close relationships with top-tier media.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a PR outreach plan and identify media targets
- Prepare weekly status documents, participate in weekly internal team status calls and weekly client status calls
- Develop press materials (releases, pitches) to support client launches/announcements
- Develop talking points for talent and executives, staff and manage interviews (zoom, phone, in-person)
- Message train talent/executives ahead of interviews
- Clearly understand client needs/KPIs to provide strategic recommendations
- Lead press outreach with support from PR partners
- Lead reporting with support from the Account Executive
- Oversight of project delivery, ensuring all campaign facets are delivered on time and meeting strategic campaign goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce seamless execution of best-in-class campaigns
- Coordinate between the client and internal teams
- Collaborate with internal teams around marketing concepts and strategies to support PR launches and drive media results
- Manage assets needed for successful launches (photos, video, paid media, social content, influencer, talent etc.)
- Develop PR/marketing materials (strategy decks, campaign recap presentations, status documents, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill set:
- 4+ years’ experience in PR, with established press contacts
- Outstanding communication skills, high level of confidentiality, strong follow through and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate and coordinate across Advisory team
- Extremely flexible, proactive, solutions-oriented, highly organized, able to shift priorities and multi-task, while working under strict deadlines
- Ability to handle heavy workflow processing in a small, collaborative, entrepreneurial team environment
- Passionate about providing exceptional customer service to internal and external partners and clients
- Ability to anticipate needs and execute time sensitive matters in a fast-paced, highly demanding, and high-volume environment
- Ability to be flexible with work hours, as business needs required
