Full-Time PR Associate: mid-Level (2-4 years)
Job Description
*How You’ll Make An Impact: *
We’re looking for a rockstar to join our speaker management team who has experience with client management. As an Associate, you’ll be the driving force for your clients’ success, understanding their goals and driving the research & pitching to secure the right speaking opportunities to meet those goals. Your day-to-day, under the guidance of our managing directors, will include researching events, honing your pitching voice, crafting creative content, and coordinating speaking opportunities. You’ll also be leading communications with clients and building key relationships with event organizers.
This position is excellent for candidates looking to grow their skills in building client relationships and owning success for clients, dive deeper into the events industry, and be an integral team member of a unique and fast growing agency. Those who think outside of the box, want to make a big impact in the events world, are comfortable wearing many hats, and are eager to assume responsibility will be successful in this role.

*An Associate will be responsible for: *
- Driving client relationships, strategy and success
- Leading client communications, including emails, calls, and in person meetings
- Strategizing angles and drafting pitches with limited review
- Finding holes in current client activity and proactively acting to fill them
- Building relationships with event organizers
- Organizing group submissions, collaborating to get wins across the team
- Driving industry and event research
- Attending and volunteering at industry and cred-managed events
- Getting involved with cred-wide initiatives
Desired Experience: this person is/has:
- 2-4 years experience in public relations, marketing, or relatable industry. Agency experience is a plus
- Excellent communicator, both internally and externally
- Organized and know how to prioritize your time, you don’t let anything fall through the cracks
- A strong team player, as a small startup every employee a crucial asset to our business
- Creative writer, who is not afraid to take risks and look for different stories to tell
- Self-motivated to help us grow our accounts services team and take on new challenges
- Meticulous at researching and finding new events and opportunities in targeted industries, while being able to keep track of top conferences and submission deadlines
- Solid experience with industry research & writing powerful pitches
- Interest in the tech industry, and curious about learning new industries
