Job Description
Salary: (£44,246 – £48,172)
The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) is growing a team of exceptional individuals in its Policy, Strategy and Government Relations Directorate to help develop the dynamic, forward thinking that will address key economic, societal and environmental opportunities and challenges. We work in partnership with our local authorities and wider stakeholders in the public, private and third sectors to develop strategy and policy that informs how we use devolved powers and funding to achieve our vision for a fairer, stronger, cleaner City Region where no one is left behind.
We are looking for three self-starting and highly motivated Policy Officers who are passionate about supporting the aims of LCRCA and have policy experience and knowledge to work in the following teams:
- Economy (2 posts) – economic development strategy and policy.
- Place and Net Zero (1 post) – environment policy, net zero and transport.
Applications will be welcome from candidates with experience across these policy themes.
Building on your relevant knowledge and experience, you will work across the Policy Service area to support the delivery of strategy and policy, help identify priorities and set the strategic direction for LCRCA and the wider City Region. You can influence and have impact with stakeholders, build strong relationships, and use your ideas, strategic expertise, policy insights and experience to shape work across the organisation.
