Full-Time People Operations Coordinator
Job Description
Make-A-Wish UK is looking for a person(s) who would like to add some magic and sparkle to our day-to-day hub and people operations.
At Make-A-Wish UK we want to ensure that all our people and partners we work with have a magical, inclusive and inspiring experience so they can provide the same for the wish children we serve. And we are currently looking for people who will be able to make these things happen specifically in relation to management of our Reading hub and HR operations.
The person in this role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Reading hub and ensuring that it is a safe, inspiring and inclusive place to work for all as well as creating magical working environment through supporting day-to-day HR and People work.
Ensuring a magical working experience will include managing the hub’s supplies and equipment, overseeing health and safety, being the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing records, coordinating employees and volunteers’ recruitment, supporting development and implementation of policies, people development and other administrative duties.
We are looking for someone with great organisation and communication skills who is approachable and thrives at making things happen for the benefit of other people and the whole organisation.
The person in this role will need to be based in our fully accessible central Reading hub for at least 3 days/week. The rest of the week they can be working at a location of their choice. Currently, this is a six months full-time contract. We will be very happy to consider applications from candidates who are looking for part-time hours and/or a job share.

Salary: £21,000 p.a,
