Full-Time Payroll Accountant
Job Description
Premier Talent Partners is looking for a Payroll Accountant to join our client’s property management company in Hayward, CA (this role is not remote eligible)! This position is primarily responsible for maintaining and processing all payroll-related duties, with some expectation to step in for HR-related needs. Responsibilities:
- Gather information on hours worked for each employee
- Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, etc. with the assistance of a computer system
- Administer statements of payment to personnel, either electronically or on paper
- Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
- Keep track of hourly rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.
- Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- Comfortable using relevant workforce management software (e.g. Kronos, Payforce) and databases
- Outstanding organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Real Estate or Property Management industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of ADP is highly preferred
- Able to utilize Yardi and Excel
