THE ROLE – Part-time (22.5 hours per week) / Fixed-term contract until 31 March 2024 (Maternity cover), with the likelihood of extension / Job description and application pack (including details on our benefits) are available to download from our website

As Passport to Independence Project Manager you will support the creation, development, and implementation of YMCA DLG’s new Housing Related Support Programme and Webapp, Passport to Independence. You will lead an innovative digital project which will support vulnerable and homeless young people to learn the skills they need to move into independent living. Working with young people and a passionate and dedicated team, you will manage both the development of the programme/content and the development of the webapp.

In this role, you will manage and implement the successful ongoing development, design and launch of the Passport to Independence Webapp and Programme, ensuring user journeys are efficient, rewarding and relevant to the user. You will add to and oversee the project plan and ensure all timings are adhered to and project reporting is up to date. You will be responsible for managing the webapp developers to ensure that the technical solution meets contractual requirements and the requirements listed in the product MVP Document. You will also oversee the functionality of the CRM system including GDPR. You will manage all content delivery for the programme including writing content and researching open-source content to upload.

This is a hybrid role; working one day in the office and two days from home, 9am-5pm – working pattern can be discussed at interview.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who is creative, technically, and digitally knowledgeable and who has an understanding of educational resources/processes (including Digital Learning). You will be working closely with staff and young people from across the organisation, and will need to be positive, enthusiastic and have a naturally inspiring and engaging style. You will be highly organised and have experience in project management, website development, user journey and digital content and design.
