Job Description
Are you passionate about music and teaching a new generation of musicians? Clark College is accepting applications for a Guitar Instructor for fall quarter, beginning on September 20, 2021, to teach a beginning guitar class (one in fall, two in winter, one in spring) and an applied guitar class for music majors (classical guitar). In addition, there is a possibility of teaching a rock music class in winter and spring terms if the candidate has sufficient background to do so. The fall class will be taught virtually.

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies
Master’s Degree in Music.
Experience in teaching guitar.
Experience with virtual environments such as Zoom preferred.
Ability to work well as a member of a team.
Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
Salary Statement: Lecture hourly rate is $74.93
