Part-Time Part-Time General Receptionist, Afternoon Hours 1p-5p
Job Description
General reception and administrative support position within company headquarters. Position is part-time, scheduled to work Monday-Friday from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., not to exceed 20 hours weekly. This is a non-exempt position paying $13.00 hourly.
General duties of the position include:
- Greet staff, patients and guests in a professional, pleasant and helpful manner
- Assure guests check and sign in for appointments
- Monitor and manage the lobby to ensure timely service for all customers, including walk-ins
- Assist to triage customers to other staff members based upon customer needs
- Answer telephones and direct calls appropriately; both internally and externally
- Keep track of patient paperwork
- Collect fees, co-pays or rental payments and provide receipts as necessary
- Schedule follow-up appointments for customers within an scheduler
- Provide Call-Center coverage as necessary
- Provide related support as directed by Supervisor
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or Equivalency Diploma accepted
- Ability to read, write and communicate clearly
- Experience with computers; medical EMR preferred
- Basic math skills
- Organized, detailed attributes
- Must possess the ability to be friendly, respectrul and gracious at all times
