The Oshkosh Police Department is searching for a Part-Time Court Liaison Clerk. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a full benefits package.
The Court Liaison Clerk is responsible for the organization and coordination of processing reports on all adult persons arrested by or for the Oshkosh Police Department. Duties may include:
- Processing court documents and entering disposition into software programs;
- Reviewing arrest reports and documents for accuracy and forwarding to proper authority;
- Preparing reports for appropriate prosecuting attorneys and Court Commissioners;
- Preparing and sending correspondence to defendants related to their cases;
- Acting as department liaison between various City departments, courts, and other county and law enforcement agencies regarding case follow-up, summonses, and subpoenas.
Qualified candidates will have one to two years of court or legal-related experience, be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates who have an Associate’s Degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or a related field, and one to two years of clerical experience.
