Position Title: PART TIME Beer Sales Manager
Reports to: Owner
Sci-fi/Fantasy-themed brewpub in the Colorado Front Range seeking experienced Sales Manager for our growing business of keg distribution in Colorado. Outworld Brewing has a 20 BBL system. This position is ideal for the beer-knowledgeable, self-motivated, high-energy craft beer enthusiast, with a demonstrated ability to develop strategic, targeted sales goals and exceed them.
POSITION SUMMARY
The weekly hours for this position: 15 hours or more.
Beer Sales Representative is a part-time position and is responsible for completing all tasks related to account maintenance and development and beer delivery.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to:
- Work with owners to develop sales goals and strategies
- Increase and develop new restaurant accounts and build relationships
- Proactively contact accounts daily to follow up and schedule visits, orders, and ensure satisfaction.
- Educate, present, and provide samples to partners and accounts on new and existing beer offerings
- Visit accounts routinely
- Manage the display of Mash Lab beer at liquor stores, check dates, and make sure beer is displayed to optimize sales
- Maintain account spreadsheet and provide weekly reports to ownership team
- Deliver product to accounts
- Work with brewery production team to stay informed on upcoming production schedule and availability
- Meet weekly with ownership team to analyze and track sales goals and targets
- Manage individual administrative duties and paperwork professionally
- Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local laws
- Represent Outworld Brewing at events, setting up, interacting with attendees, promoting our beer, and tearing down
- Familiarity with draft beer system including jockey boxes.
- Draft beer line cleaning at accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of different styles of beer
- Draft beer system experience including line cleaning. Possess a mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
- Must have 3+ years previous experience in brewery sales, beer wholesaler sales, and/or business-to-business sales
- Experience with sales and marketing to corporate clients a plus
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Must have the intermediate or above computer skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to interpret and prepare financial documents i.e. P & L statements
- Ability to track and monitor progress in all current and new accounts
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- Lead by setting a professional and upbeat example
- Aptitude with the writing and math skills necessary to prepare invoices, complete forms, write orders, draft emails and other business correspondence, and perform necessary calculations
- TIPS or ServSafe Certification required upon employment
- Cicerone Certification desired.
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach overhead, squat and bend
- Ability transport 165 lb kegs with a dolly and maneuver into restaurants
Other Requirements
Position also requires a reliable automobile, mobile communication (cell phone)
SALARY RANGE- Part-time position – pro-rata annualized salary $28,000 – $30,000, plus commission pay
