Job Description
Are you passionate about music and have experience as a pianist? Clark College is accepting applications for a part-time Accompanist for the Clark College Chorale for fall quarter. Weekly rehearsal meeting times are Wednesday nights, from 6:30pm – 8:50pm, beginning September 22, 2021. There will be a minimum of one concert per term. Hourly wage is $38.48.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform piano accompaniment for practice, rehearsals, and performance choirs.
Coach solos and ensembles by arranging or transposing music, teaching notes and rhythm, recognizing, and resolving intonation problems, and providing suggestions regarding interpretation of music.
Position Requirements and Competencies:
Strong skills as a pianist.
Experience in accompanying choirs.
Job Readiness/Working Conditions:
Ability to work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

Salary: $38.48/hour
