Job Description
The Natural Resources Council of Maine (NRCM), the state’s leading environmental advocacy organization, is seeking to fill a temporary Outreach Coordinator position. This temporary position is an exciting opportunity to join the NRCM team during the most critical months of Maine’s legislative session. The Outreach Coordinator will assist with a variety of organizing and legislative outreach activities across a range of pending environmental policy issues in Maine. They will work closely with multiple Advocacy and Outreach staff and with members of the Communications team in a fast-paced environment. The position is best suited for work in NRCM’s Augusta office at least two days per week, with remote work as an option for other days.
The position is currently open and extends at least through June 30, 2023. The preference is for a full-time hire, although candidates available for less than 40 hours per week will be considered. NRCM will be posting a full-time, permanent Outreach Coordinator position in Spring 2023, and the employee who fills this temporary position can apply for that full-time position.
