Full-Time Organizational Development Program Specialist

The Organizational Development team works at all levels of SickKids to support employees and leaders in developing and practicing effective communication and relationship-building. Our main area of focus is in creating tools, resources, and programs for people leaders to build and maintain psychologically healthy environments in which innovation, collaboration and excellence can thrive.
The Organizational Development Program Specialist under the leadership of the Director, Organizational Development and HR Operations will work closely with Program Managers in OD, SickKids leaders, and core functional and HR partners to develop and implement programs and learning initiatives that enhance and support organizational effectiveness and transformation. The purpose of the role will focus on OD program delivery, program evaluation and program administration.
Here’s What You’ll Get To Do:
- Educator and facilitator of OD programs, including full accountability for Emerging Leader and New Leader Orientation programs. Support with coordination and administration of other leadership programs. Partner with SickKids Leaders and OD Program Managers to develop and implement programs and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and support organizational transformation. (Needs assessment in partnership with OD Program Managers)
- Create tools and job aids to support programs and learner experience.
- Create multisource course content. (ie e-learning, webinars, podcasts.)
- Program evaluation (survey design, data analysis, reporting)
- Pre and post programming set up and coordination on LMS and other platforms.
- Internal marketing of OD programs and initiatives
Who You Are:
- Completion or in progress of completing a certificate or degree in Adult Education or demonstrated experience and knowledge of learning and development programs with adult populations.
- Demonstrated facilitation skills with adult populations.
- Ability to integrate business objectives and organizational goals into program delivery and support program design.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to connect and collaborate effectively with diverse teams, facilitating the establishment of shared goals, fostering consensus, and promoting cooperative decision-making.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to translate concepts and ideas into practical, implementable programs and initiatives.
- Collaborator with demonstrated experience in rolling up your sleeves to pitch in where needed and work cohesively within the team.
- Strong organizational skills and results orientated.
- Demonstrated commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion.
