Full-Time Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Sr Specialist – Project Costing & Fixed Assets
Job Description
Oracle Cloud Finance Solutions team is part of Finance Organization and help provide functional and BAU operational support for Oracle Cloud Platforms. Team provides support for General Ledger, Intercompany, Source to Pay, Project Costing, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payables, FCCS modules across Peoplesoft and Oracle Cloud Platforms. Team partners closely with Business Stakeholders, ERP technology and Finance Users to ensure that application platforms are managed effectively and provide great business value to our stakeholders. Team is looking for dynamic professional who has prior implementation experience with Oracle Financials Project Costing/Fixed Assets modules and can help lead various platform enhancements initiatives.
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead various platform enhancements projects, working closely with architecture and development teams to deliver solutions for Project Costing (PC) and Fixed Assets (FA)
- This is a lead functional role with deep cross functional understandings of the application and/or Architecture.
- Leads functional analysis, gap identification and requirements definition for assigned function.
- Coordinates with other team leads to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across the enterprise.
- Executes projects and initiatives in full compliance with defined processes and controls.
- Provide support for production BAU issues.
- Provide in depth cross functional expertise around the assigned function.
- Proactively anticipate potential roadblocks and take corrective action to keep the project on track. Escalate issues to project management as needed
- Act as an Oracle Cloud ERP knowledge resource for functional teams and train team members as necessary
- Build strong relationships and trust with our Global partners
Qualifications
- Experience implementing Oracle Cloud Financials in a Functional role
- In depth knowledge of Project Costing and Fixed Assets Modules.
- Good understanding of how costs are imported into Project Costing, processed for capitalization, and transferred to Fixed Assets.
- Good understanding of the complete life cycle of assets from creation through retirement, and all possible maintenance activities in between.
- Good understanding of accounting concepts and all accounting events from these modules.
- Good understanding of the data model for these modules, to be able to write OTBI and BIP reports.
- Experience working on cross-functional team(s) in a collaborative development environment
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree is beneficial
- 8 plus years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Work experience in Financial industry is a plus
- Preferred to have a working knowledge of Accounts Payables, understands how invoices are ingested, processed and accounted, and eventually costs are imported to Project Costing.
- Preferred to have working knowledge of General Ledger and understand accounting concepts.
