Job Description

The Oregon State Hospital’s Chief Medical Office Administration  is seeking a new  team member to  manage the Medical and Allied Health Professionals (MAHPS) ) organizational committee systems, peer review, and credentialing file audits. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience providing data analysis, compiling and evaluating data.

Example: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science, or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical, and planning work.

  • Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and Access, knowledge of enterprise accounting, and the requirements of contract administration within OHA.
  • Experience carrying out multiple assignments with minimal direction and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Proficiency in oral and written communications.
  • Ability to identify and analyze information from written material.
  • Experience working with representatives of professional associations, contractors, and other program administrators.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and apply complicated rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze systems, identify problems and recommend solutions. In addition, this position requires knowledge of policy development and execution.
  • Thorough knowledge of both state and federal policy regarding healthcare administration.
  • Experience with policy development, particularly as it relates to credentialing, enrollment, and contract matters.
