Full-Time Operations Lead – North-East Scotland

Job Description

 The Role

As an Operations Lead you will provide clear leadership and direction in line with our leadership qualities across Phoenix Futures and role modelling behaviours that ensure our purpose and values are embedded within the organisation.

About You

We are looking for an individual who enjoys bringing innovative ideas to life and isn’t afraid to take on new and exciting challenges. To join us in Phoenix Futures Scotland you will need:

  • Experience leading and managing a Care Inspectorate registered service or similar
  • Experience of implementing new services and leading teams with change management and through the change process
  • Evidence of developing strategic partnerships across Scotland to support with the development of services and the ability to network to achieve the best outcomes for the individuals that access our services
  • To be determined, with a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn
  • To be passionate and enthusiastic about making a real difference to the lives of people we support
  • Relevant experience of working in health and social care, ideally within the field of drug and alcohol use, mental health or another comparable field
  • Experience of identifying new opportunities for business growth

 

Your Rewards

The Service

Our new Adult Residential service will be based in Alford in Aberdeenshire and our Recovery Housing and Dayhab service will be based in Aberdeen City. These services will offer a drug and alcohol-free environment and structured support for men and women looking to address both substance use and mental health needs.  Our services will have a focus on the therapeutic benefits of the natural environment and our Recovery through Nature work.

Phoenix Futures Group is a charity with over 50 years’ experience and a leading provider of drug and alcohol treatment.  We are a registered charity and housing association. In 1994 we opened our first service in Scotland; a residential service in Glasgow. From this first service, Phoenix Futures Scotland grew to support those affected by drugs and alcohol across the country in prison, community and residential settings.

Interview Process

We want you to feel comfortable to be your best during the interview process, so that you can get to know Phoenix and we can get to know you. If shortlisted, you will be contacted for a digital interview via Microsoft Teams.  There will also be a brief aptitude test and psychometric test to complete in advance.  Following this if successful we will arrange to meet you face-to-face. All details will be provided in advance so that you can feel adequately prepared and we can support you with reasonable adjustments as required.
