Full-Time On-Site IT Associate

Job Description

The role

You have a passion for technology and problem-solving. Excellent communication and customer service skills are critical. This position is ideal for someone who wishes to grow and foster a career in IT. You will be responsible for solving day-to-day technology issues related to our onsite meeting room and Audio Visual equipment. This is an onsite role for our NY office

The work you’ll do

  • Setup and tear-down of meeting space equipment as needed
  • Monitoring of AV equipment during presentations
  • Performs routine maintenance of all Conference Rooms and Audio Visual Systems
  • Basic troubleshooting of printer hardware issues
  • Act as primary contact for all AV-related inquiries across all SYPartners offices globally.
  • Work with outside vendors to update and support AV and Tech equipment
  • Flexible hours to align with key meetings that require support (e.g., Sunday prep – Monday event)
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation and how-to-use guides
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs
  • Monitor meeting tickets and Slack, and providing timely responses
  • Help drive the Audio & Video contracts and ensure all equipment are covered and proper SLAs are in place

Desired experience and skills

  • Previous experience with boardroom AV technology
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Basic knowledge of networking
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
