Job Description
The City of Oshkosh, Wisconsin is searching for a full-time Office Assistant for the Oshkosh Police Department. This position provides clerical support to the Captains of the Administrative Bureau and Operations Bureau. Work is varied and of moderate difficulty, including operations that require the exercise of judgment based upon knowledge gained through experience. Work decisions are made in accordance with established precedents and departmental policies.
Qualified candidates will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, general computer applications, and filing
- A minimum of two years of increasingly responsible related experience.
Salary: This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position with a full benefits package. Pay ranges from $20.64 – $23.59 per hour.
