Earnings: £26,425 per annum

Horsham Y Centre supports 50 young people aged 16-24 with housing needs. This includes relieving homelessness, learning life skills, building confidence and engaging with their community. The project is staffed 24 hours 7 days a week, 365 days a year. YMCA DLG is responsible for the support our residents and the upkeep of the building.

We are looking for a Night Worker to join our dynamic, supportive team. In this role you will be responsible for providing informal support to our young people and ensuring the safety of our young people and the building throughout the night. You will also complete administrative tasks and liaise with other YMCA DownsLink Group projects to help support colleagues at other sites.

This role is based on site and you will work four nights on and four off on a seven-day rolling rota, including weekends and bank holidays.

The successful applicant will have a desire to have a positive impact on young people, good communication skills and a creative approach to problem solving. You will have good customer skills and experience of working with young people. You will also have good administrative and IT skills.
